This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, who else can see it, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read rather than to be technically survivable, and it describes what the site actually does — not what a template says a website might do.

Any question about this policy, any request to see or delete your information, and any complaint can go to that address. A person reads it.
What we collect, and why
Booking a session
Sessions are booked through Calendly, which sits outside this website. What you enter there — typically your name, email address, and anything you choose to write in the booking notes — is used to schedule the session, hold it, and follow up with you about it. Calendly stores that information on its own systems under its own privacy policy.
The contact form
The contact form collects your name, email address and message. It is delivered to us by email and is not stored in a database on this website. We use it to answer you. It is not added to any mailing list.
Because the message is a free-text field that arrives as ordinary email, please send only what you are comfortable putting in an email. You do not need to describe anything personal to ask whether coaching is a fit — a first conversation is a better place for that than a web form.
The newsletter
If you tick the consent box and submit the newsletter form, we store your email address, the date and time you subscribed, and where the subscription came from (a first and last name, if you give one). We use it for one thing: to email you when a new article is published.
You are subscribed because you asked to be, and you can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email. We keep a record of the unsubscribe so that we do not email you again by accident.
The shop
If you order a print, we collect what an order needs: your name, email address, shipping address and the contents of the order. Payment is handled by [PAYMENT PROVIDER — to be completed], and we never see or store your full card details. Your name and shipping address are passed to Printful, which prints and ships the order.
Likes on designs
If you "like" a design, the site sets a cookie named skdl_vid
containing a random 32-character token. The token is generated by the server and
is not derived from anything about you — not your IP address,
not your browser, not your behaviour. Its only job is to let you un-like
something and to avoid counting the same browser twice. The database stores only
which design was liked, that token, and a timestamp.
No cookie is set by simply reading the page. Clearing your cookies discards the token entirely, and you become a new anonymous browser as far as the site is concerned.
Article statistics
We count how often articles are read. The counting is deliberately built so that it cannot identify anyone: it stores daily totals per article, along with the general source of the visit (for example a search engine, or a campaign tag from a link we shared). It records no IP address, no browser identifier, no cookie, and no row that represents an individual visitor. There is no way to work backwards from it to a person, including for us.
Site statistics
Beyond the anonymous article counts above, this site runs its own copy of Matomo, a privacy-focused analytics tool installed on the same server that hosts this website. Nothing is sent to a third party.
Statistics run by default: they are part of how the site understands what visitors read and, on the shop, what they buy. Matomo records which pages you visit, the rough region your request comes from (your IP address is shortened before it is stored), the browser and device you use, and, on the shop, which products are looked at and that a purchase happened (payment details stay with our payment provider).
Matomo sets cookies named _pk_id, _pk_ses and
_pk_ref so it can recognise return visits. They are measurement
cookies only, never advertising cookies. You can opt out at any
time using the button below, or your browser's cookie and tracking
protections. From the moment you opt out, Matomo stops recording your
visits. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage and
applied on every page you visit, so you only need to set it once.
Statistics: on (default)
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking or profiling service, and we do not sell or share your personal information. The fonts on this site are served from our own server, so loading a page does not tell a font provider that you were here.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. These are ordinary operational records, not something we analyse to learn about visitors.
Cookies
This site uses very few cookies:

_pk_id,_pk_ses,_pk_ref): set unless you have opted out of statistics, as described above. - Shop cookies: set only on shop pages, to remember what is in your cart while you shop.

None of these are advertising cookies. The measurement cookies are set unless you opt out of statistics; everything else does what you asked the site to do. Clearing your browser's cookies or site data will ask again. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will keep working, though likes and the cart will forget you.
Who else handles your information
These are the services involved in running the site. We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we never have.
- Hostinger — hosts the website. The server is in Germany.
- Calendly — session booking (United States).
- Cloudflare — provides the "are you human" check on the newsletter form, to keep spam out.
- Printful — prints and ships shop orders (United States).
- Our payment provider — processes shop payments.
Information may also be disclosed if we are legally required to do so.
Where your information is stored
The website and its database are hosted in Germany, and several of the services listed above operate in the United States. If you are in Canada, this means your information is stored and processed outside Canada, and while it is there it may be accessible to the courts and authorities of those countries under their own laws.
How long we keep it
- Contact form messages — kept in our email while they are relevant to the conversation, then deleted.
- Newsletter subscriptions — kept until you unsubscribe. The record that you unsubscribed is kept so that we do not add you again by mistake.
- Shop orders — kept as long as tax and business records require.
- Likes — kept until the design is removed, or until you clear your cookies and stop being recognisable.
- Site statistics (Matomo): kept for 12 months, then deleted automatically by the software.
- Article statistics — kept indefinitely, because they contain no personal information to expire.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it;
- opt out of site statistics measurements, as described above;
- stop using it — for the newsletter, the unsubscribe link does this instantly.

If you are in Canada and are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy question, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or to your provincial privacy regulator.
Children
This site and these services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security and breaches
The site is served over HTTPS, and access to the systems holding personal information is limited to those who need it. No website can promise perfect security, but if a breach occurs that puts you at real risk, we will tell you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will do more than change the date — we will tell you.
